Sangwoo is a practice nurse at Lumen Gastroenterology. Sangwoo completed his Bachelor of Nursing in Australia and is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board, AHPRA. With over 15 years of experience in the medical and surgical setting, and over 5 years of experience as an IBD Nurse Consultant, Sangwoo remains a passionate practice nurse committed to providing excellent nursing service.

Sangwoo has particular expertise in biologic and thiopurine medications management and currently provides support to over 1000 IBD patients in both public and private settings. Sangwoos role at Lumen Gastroenterology includes patient education, complex PBS drug management, immunosuppressive drug blood monitoring, liaising with the various IBD stakeholders, and point of contact for patient inquiries.

Sangwoo is passionate about providing evidence-based, holistic nursing care and education to his patients. Sangwoo continues to fulfill his role as a senior IBD practice nurse, devoted to providing optimal patient care to achieve the best possible therapeutic outcomes for the patients.
